Shanny Morgenstern, COO
Shanny serves clients as COO, by sharing sage counsel and a different point-of-view to help Eric with strategic recommendations.
After graduating from KU, Shanny was an analyst, consultant, manager and technology teacher and trainer. Since co-founding Morningstar Communications with Eric in 1997, Shanny runs all business operations.
Community and civic leadership are core components of Shanny’s life. She currently serves as immediate past chair of the board for the Jewish Community Center of KC (The J). She is the Membership Vice President for B’nai Jehudah’s Sisterhood. Previously, she was chair of women’s philanthropy and treasurer for the Jewish Federation. She serves as a mentor to Leadership Tomorrow participants and volunteers for Jewish Family Services as a Tech Connect resource.
Shanny loves to exercise, read and teach her grandchildren, Cy and Anna.
